Motivate me runners!! I've fallen off the (training) wagon

I used to run at least 30k a week - and enjoy it too (within reason) but work got hectic a few months ago and training went out the window so I'm now sluggish and totally unmotivated. I find it hard to believe I used to run at least three times a week, I can't rouse myself to do a measly 5 k walk now!! Last year I ran 3 half marathons and had planned the same thise year but have let the first too slide by without even watching them and the third is in 4 months time - help me to get back out there. I can't imagine where I should even begin Sad

Blush that would be "this year" and "the first two"

Nightmare! Could you rouse yourself for a 5k park run, just to assess your current state? Lots of people to encourage you, and I bet you won't be last!

start with small distances and build up, walk-run if you need to until you build your fitness back up

get some new running kit

go for walks along parts of your old favourite running routes

if you used to run with anyone (club, friends) get in touch and see if they will join you

the only way is to actually do it, so just go out for a walk in your kit (with some running breaks if you're feeling it) and do it

Enter a race with a jazzy medal always helps me!
New kit, plan it (could you run home from work?)
