Running gear for tall person!

Hi all wasnt sure whether to post this in Style and Beauty or here....I'm 5 foot 11 with a 36 inch inside leg and struggle to get the bottom half of me clothed for my runs. I have a couple of pairs of Next Tall bottoms but they are more the yoga pant type flarey ones so when I'm running they're flapping all around my legs!

I would really like some of the tigher/straight ones that everyone else seems to wear but don't know where to look for ones that will be long enough....

Any tall runners got any suggestions / recommendations? I need to up my game in 2015...having done a half marathon in May I now struggle to even do 3 miles, I figured new kit may motivate me!

Thanks in advance all!

I have the same issue so will be watching this thread.

Years ago I used to buy a brand called View From, which were in M&S. They came in extra long length. They have disappeared now and my old ones have finally dropped to bits. Currently I use Primark ones with zippy pocket at the back and cover my cold ankles with long socks.

5'9". Use longer socks to bridge the ankle gap in winter. It's not a good look. but then, I go a luvverly shade of neon pink when running which is even less of a good look so I can't get worked up about the socks.

I'm 6ft 1; my running tights are Ronhill. They come to about 2-3 in above my ankle and feel comfy there. Some of my socks stretch up to them, some not. For warmer weather I have Ronhill capris which come to just below my knees, though today I wore them with bright pink calf sleeves, I was a lovely sight!
Oh and I have a cheaper pair of Karrimor running tights from sports direct that I find long enough too, although I prefer the Ronhill

I'm a fan of 2xu compression tights which come in 2 lengths - I wear small/ tall.

Another solution would be to alter the flappy ones! Just put them on inside out, and get someone to pin them to the correct size. Take them off very carefully, then tack the new seam line. Assuming you don't have a sewing machine yourself, ask a friend to either overlock them, or machine with a stretch stitch on a normal sewing machine.
(Have sent you a PM)
