Pay as you play netball games starting in Staines

A new initiative for women who want to play netball, but don't have time to commit to a netball club or Saturday matches is starting up in Staines for 10 weeks on a Tuesday eve. Sounds perfect for mums as no commitment week on week and could be a good workout. Being run by the Surrey Netball Development Officer, so I have pasted the details below for anyone interested. Netball Now is a pay as you play session, meaning you can attend as few or as many of the sessions in the 10 week block as you wish. There will be no coaching during these sessions, just solely match play controlled by a qualified umpire.

These sessions welcome participants of all standards, whether you are looking for extra practice away from your regular club, want to use it for fitness, or have not played in a while and are looking for a social activity and to meet new people.

It is not necessary to have a team of 7 either; Netball Now accommodates individuals and small groups, teams will be formed at the start of each session and players are welcome to try out different positions.

Session details are:

Day: Every Tuesday evening
Dates: 11th June to 13th August
Time: 6.30pm to 7.30pm
Venue: Matthew Arnold Leisure Centre, Kingston Road, Staines, TW18 1PF
Cost: £2 per session (affiliated) or £2.50 (not affiliated)
