Paddlesports in Brighton

I want to start paddling again and find a good club to join, but am want to know if anybody has had experience with the local clubs?

I want a club that involves coaching which seems to be the main issue, as apparently a lot of them don't have any formal coaching. I want to go for my three star canoe, three star sea kayaking and level two coaching over the next three years so can't not have any formal coaching. The only one I've found that does formal coaching meets from 9-10pm on a Thursday night and is 30mins from home, which is a bit far to go at night after paddling and then to get to work the next day for me!

Anybody know the area?
