Like all the other party leaders? He said something over the weekend implying he was happy to be, but has this been scheduled?

No idea tbh, FWIW I think he should do it, as avoiding it is a bad look imo, but we are probably running out of time now, what with the Trump visit and only 10 days until the election etc...

No, he won't. As someone pointed out the other day, the more people see of him, the less they like him. Plus he can't stop lying and Neil will annihilate him.

I believe the technical term is 'frit'.

I did read something the other day that essentially said we have to come to the point where the current editor of the Spectator can't get an interview with a former editor of the Spectator but could ask the current deputy editor to put in a word with her husband who is one Mr Dominic Cummings ... it's a farce; a stitch-up; a mockery of democracy.

So, no interview with Andrew Neil, no release of the documentation about BJ and Russia, no show to the Climate debate-yet he’s still winning in the polls!

Don't despair fedup, the margin is narrowing and the polls are all polloney anyway. Keep your dander up - evil will be defeated!

Thanks, @arsedarkly these are difficult times!

Is there a list somewhere of all the recent polls that have been done?

Probably but as I tend to avoid them I'm not sure where! Westminsters threads have a lot of polls. They are horrible times full of anxiety but I've had to get a grip on myself and remember that it won't go on for ever.

I agree with arse

He is much too gutless to go up against Neil and to be honest the man can’t sting a coherent sentence together...i thought he could and i was most disappointed

Shame really as ds2 and I were looking forward to it

Maybe it's just as well as I might start to feel sorry for the horrible bastard Shock

But the disappointment arse

It was going to be a lovely mother and son bonding moment and he’s ruined it

Why is he so frightened of Andrew Neil?

Andrew Neil is even more of a rabid Tory than he is. From being the Chairman of the Confederation of Conservative Students, to the Editor of The Sunday Times to the Chairman of the right-wing Spectator magazine, to being one of the many Tories amongst the political commentators of the Brexit Broadcasting Corporation, he has never failed to attack Labour and especially LIbDem politicians but go very easy on the Tories.

To be fair to Andrew Neil, he's even-handed when it comes to spatchcocking politicians who haven't covered their briefs sufficiently well before trying to trot out a party line on his show.

It's a thing of terrifying beauty, really.

As someone pointed out the other day, the more people see of him, the less they like him

Same is being said of Swinson.

The weirdest thing about his blustery half answer on the news the other day was the way he suggested it wasn’t up to him and “other people are making calls blah blah”. He’s asking to be elected to run the nation and doesn’t have the power to make a decision about the interviews he gives, or so he says.

Lies lies lies is all he knows

No
Because he's a coward.
He knows that his lies won't stand up to scrutiny.
He knows that things he says needs to be fact checked.

Jo Swinson is not afraid of Andrew Neil and did a brilliant interview with him.
