driver, I just bought the Bosch IXO cordless model and it is deffo fab.

Small and powerful, but with suitably impressive girth and a nice comfy grip. It should be useful in hard to get at places. £28 at B&Q. Lithium-ion battery (no memory effect) which is nice too.

There. A real, proper bloke conversation.

Bear, wmf, hd, dc - do any of you have this fine beast ?

actually, I must say that this makes me want to go & buy it... you might have a future in the advertising industry

You need it badly, nm, LOL.

It's much shorter than regular drivers so you can use it in more inaccessible places, and then handle is very comfy so you can really lean into it. It is small and light and very cool. I've been wanting to buy one for months !

Sorry, missed out several other MN-men, sdof3 for example and several others.

Cariad, all the laydees just quivver their fans in this heat, doncha know. I was just wanting to do something useful in the men's room.

LOL nm. Get it for his next pressie. He will enjoy exploring those inaccessible spaces as this screwdriver has a little light which shines at the screwhead when you are drilling ! Woohoo !

8 out of 10 gynaes prefer it.

Sorry to disappoint, fm. I reckon if you buy one of these and put it on a windowsill in view of the street you will get a Big Strong Boy knocking on your door within minutes.

I wield the screwdrivers in this house whilst DH pretends to help

Erm yes actually, sorry. Central heating is a lot easier than I thought it would be and you can buy the boiler and radiators all from B&Q and then get someone to fit it, much cheaper!!! All you have to do is work out how much BTU output you need from radiators in each room, upsizing for a bathroom and downsizing for a bedroom!!!

I used to have a heat gun but I never used it so I gave it to my mate who's a decorator.
