Okay, background to personalities and what has gone on before? Have they done any talking before, is she staying there - can you contrive a reason why she would be staying there overnight? (Transportation failure?) He shows her where the guest room is....

Hear a noise upstairs, believe it to be burglars... dramatic tension... leading it to be a trapped squirrel in the bedroom, laugh with relief then fall into each other's arms

Okay, I'm grasping at straws too

Seriously though - I find with writer's block it's best to keep writing regardless. If you don't know how it's going to happen, stick a [SOMEHOW GET UPSTAIRS] marker and come back to it later. Oh and keep a notepad and pen by your bedside. The sleepy state between asleep and awake first thing in the morning is one of THE best times to jot down ideas

Pruni, one thing which always worked for me...

massage....

Blokey rips protective covers from piano / furniture else lifts unfeasibly heavy object infront of dame, pulls muscle / cricks neck, requires administrations from babe...

Of course the other way round works well too... dame wonders around the ground floor, twists ankle on crappy floorboard, blokey adminsters therapy via mid body meridian pressure points.

ooooh: On chair trying to figure out which fuse / breaker to turn on for light / heat... chair leans / breaks, victim requires massage...

I'll leave the hardcore massage scene to you...

Is he rather brusque ? Am sure doctor man would love to get his hands on minx lady rather than prescribing a paracetamol.

Maybe she could get on the chair too quickly and pass out from low BP ?

LOL. Good luck with your book

sorry if this has already been suggested, but couldn't he take her downstairs somewhere, thereby avoiding the whole how-to-get-her-upstairs problem?

when i say "take her downstairs" i mean "TAKE her downstairs"

Perhaps he has a name for his member consistent with his 'refined' personality ?

Does his todger/willy/pork sword need direct reference - can't you sort of work round it (so to speak) with the word 'himself'?

member, possibly prefixed with the word 'massive' if not 'throbbing'?

You can tell I am working on an article of such boredom (third one today) that I want to chew off my own toes, can't you.
