Line Eyes needed! Help!

Hi ladies, I had IVF and was very lucky it worked first time and I have been blessed with twins who are now 15 months. Last week I felt nauseous and had really bad heartburn (which I only had when I was pregnant) so I randomly took a pregnancy test 2 days before AF was due and it was positive!!! To say I was shocked is an understatement. Anyway of course I've been peeing on sticks left right and centre but I'm worried my lines are getting lighter? Here are my tests but wondering what you ladies thought. I guess I'm technically 4+2 now. xxxxx

Don't look lighter to me. All look like a strong positive from here!

In the gentlest possible way, you'll drive yourself crazy doing this. Store bought pregnancy tests aren't sensitive enough to be used in this way. You're going to get fluctuations depending on the concentration of your wee, time of day etc.

I've had three miscarriages, so I do understand where you're coming from but it's just a waiting game now. Congratulations on your pregnancy. Flowers

Really? Are you sure?
I've been analysing them and convincing myself it's going to end I'm even wearing a pad!! Guess I just can't believe it after all the help I needed in ivf.
My nausea has also eased a bit but my boobs are still sore. Which also worried me but I guess I only have my twin pregnancy to compare to and I felt sick every day for 22 weeks!

Yer you're right. I just can't imagine this could be ok when I was on so many meds after ivf. I'm so anxious about it. Wondering if I should see my GP and tell them about it. Keep analysing the tests!!

I had slight bleeding with all of my babies.
Pink as well and that's not a good sign but they were fine.

Brown is just old blood and unless it gets heavy and red, isn't anything to be concerned about.

Best of luck.

I tested when I was 2 days late for my period. Was a blazing positive, and the line never got darker than that, in fact it got ever so slightly lighter and just kind of settled at that level of darkness, even at 8/9 weeks pregnant. I wouldn't worry too much, they look like lovely strong positives. Congratulations!

OP those are very strong tests. With my early miscarriages the tests were squinters and faded away completely.

Also both my healthy pregnancies I had spotting type bleeding/brown cm at about five weeks and ended up at the EPAU both pregnancies were fine and hospital told me it was probably implantation. I’ve no idea what it was but it definitely wasn’t the end of the pregnancies.

Go to your EPAU hopefully they’ll give you a scan and you’ll see everything is fine.

Also, around the time when you would have been due on, your body can 'try' to have a period. So 4ish weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks etc. I had spotting at 6 weeks, 10 weeks, and 13ish weeks. Always light and either pink/orangey brown. Hope you manage to rest and relax a bit.

I have been doing the clear blue weeks tests every few days. I got my first and shocking positive with 1-2 weeks 5 days before I was due AF! AF was due Saturday so did another and it said 2-3 weeks and then I did one this morning to see and it said 3+ weeks. But I just can't believe it. I'm going to the Dr on Monday just to talk to her as I'm so anxious. I've had cramping on and off as well but I had that with my twins. I know you're right about the bleeding it's not always sinister. I had a huge bleed at 11 weeks with my twins bright red blood big gush and all was fine and then never knew where it came from. But I don't know just feels weird this time. I had a lot of progesterone with the twins so am just a nervous wreck!!!!

If you are only 4+3 and you’re getting 3+ on a digital, that would suggest your HCG levels are high for gestation (I’m sure you know that 3+ means over 5 weeks pregnant). Could be normal for you, could be that you ovulated a little earlier than you think or could even be multiples again! Either way you’re definitely pregnant, congratulations and good luck Flowers

I'm definitely 4+3 as I remember when I started my LMP. Just had another bit of brown mixed in with clear CM when I wiped. Nothing on a pad though. I do have AF type cramps. Just feels like this can't be normal. I know the test got stronger quiet quickly but maybe I caught it up there and now it'll start coming down?

I've always had AF cramps with pregnancy.

It's horrible but I think you just have to sit tight and wait. There's very little you can do now.

Went to the GP today. She was lovely and has referred me for an Early Pregnancy Scan so will see when that is. And also bloods but when I tried to book those with the receptionist she gave me a date for over a week away!!! Will need to ring up each day for a cancellation! No more brown but have felt very sick and sore boobs but also lots and lots of AF cramping which is worrying.

Oh OP, I'm sure the waiting isn't pleasant Flowers. Just thought I'd mention that a cramping type feeling can also be your uterus expanding.

Lolly2803 · 25/09/2018 07:37

Yer it's not painful as such just feels like AF pains. Keep knicker checking too but nothing. Going to try and just chill out until my scan. What will be will be. But it's hard!!!

Op I had what you are describing with my first daughter, every 5 minutes I was checking my knickers as it felt so damp Blush I thought it was blood but it wasn't, I then had period pain alongside it for about 10 days very bad cramps so I dismissed all the positive tests but no she is now 3 years old everything was just cramping and stretching I think to accommodate her Grin

I'm having a lot of pink CM now so I think I'll probably misscarry. I've got a scan next Friday so will see but I'm sure it'll come to an end before then.
