Conception

Hello again, two week wait...

I'm in the 2ww again, and hoping this might be the one. I ordered some preseed, but it didn't arrive until right at the end of my fertile window, so only used it a couple of times but hoping it'll help!

Anyone care to join me with the madness, impatience and symptom spotting?

Hi, I'm just starting my tww (2dpo). This is cycle number 3 for me and we have been trying conceive+ lube for the first time! Fingers crossed for both of us 😀!

karategirl me too! Are you having vivid dreams?

Report
LittleBirdBlues · 05/11/2017 19:42

Hi all! 6dpo here (I think! Going by dates only) and no symptoms to speak of.

Mind you, I had so many symptoms last month, I was convinced that I was pregnant, and then af arrived anyway, so perhaps no symptoms is the way forward! Grin

Hi everyone, and good to see you again peaches

I'm 2dpo (based on Clue app dates) so no symptoms yet. I've been terrible at symptom spotting so far, so no doubt it'll only be a few days until I'm sure I'm pregnant!

Fingers crossed for everyone - hopefully it'll be our month.

Cupcakesandlove is this unusual for you? I had loads of weird symptoms last month though too! No dreams though!

Hi @peaches yes very rare, I don’t usually sleep I very rarely fall into a deep sleep as my daughter doesn’t sleep through the night. I’ve had horrific headaches, I had ovulation pain as I was also using OPK and it coincided with my peak, I’ve had cramps on and off all day today sort of like a stich or when you sneeze and it catches you on your side on my right side. My boobs are fine though. I am also very tired I’ve had two
Cups of coffee today I usually drink decaf tea!! Had to pop to my mums earlier for a lay down... I think I’m pregannt every month for ten months and I haven’t been I’m just waiting for af to show I literally only dtd once the day I had my peak so I know I’ll come on x

Morning everyone, how's it going?

I'm at 8dpo and symptom spotting has really begun in earnest... For the past couple of days, I'm had incredibly painful breasts. As in, brushing past them hurts. They're usually sore just before my period anyway (although never this bad), so I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but it's impossible not to... It just makes me glad I've got such tiny tits, because I can't imagine how bad it would be if there was more to hurt!!

I've also been absolutely exhausted, but that's likely just down to a busy work week.

The weird thing I have had is blood when I was brushing my teeth yesterday morning, although I couldn't see where it had actually come from... Presumably bleeding gums, but they all looked OK, and not sore Confused

@Cupcakesandlove how are you doing? Have you tested?

@peachesarenom I'm so bored of waiting too! How can two weeks drag so much...?

@Justoneme and @Littlebirdblues I guess you must be coming up to test time? Any news?

@Daisymalone how did you find the conceive+? Regardless of whether or not it works, I really liked the preseed - it felt really natural.

Hi karate! I think I'm around 11, or 12 dpo. I have a feeling af is on her way but you never know! I haven't got any tests at home so will have to wait until Monday now!

How's everybody else?

Picklesandpies · 11/11/2017 12:59

May I join please! Think I’m at similar stage to you karategirl. Around 7 DPO. Was up early this morning due to shooting pains in my nipples. Also, like you, small boobs which is a blessing sometimes I suppose Hmm... I know it’s too early for symptoms really. Won’t stop my looking for them though! Due on 17th - debating frer on Monday...

Well, LittleBirdBlues, you're not until you're out so fingers crossed for you.

Good to have you Picklesandpies. It's completely impossible not to let your imagination run away with you isn't it? I've got a couple of tests upstairs, but determined not to test until Saturday - my period is due on Friday.

I'm wearing a sports bra today and it seems to be helping Smile

I take my hat off to you if you can wait that long to test Smile I almost wish they hadn’t brought out such sensitives ones as I just haven’t got the willpower to resist! I know I could try to wait it out with you though - maybe I can do it!

Hope you dont mind me joining! Im currently 8 dpo and i hate the wait. Ive got tests in the house but make myself wait as long as i can before taking one.
Forever giving myself symptoms in my mind but always have a visit from AF not far after...

Report
karategirl · 12/11/2017 14:55

@Picklesandpies I know, right?! I think there's just such risk of picking up a chemical pregnancy if you test before your period's due, which would upset me so much that I think I'd rather wait. Doesn't make the waiting any easier though...

Hi @Raf121 Good to have you along for the madness!

My boob pain seems to have calmed down now. Had a little period-style cramping this morning, but don't think it necessarily means anything.

We have some friends round for Sunday dinner this afternoon, so hopefully entertaining will distract me!

Hi all,

I want to jump in here too as I'm 9 dpo.

I've not bought any tests as I know I'll use them all too haha. Last few months I've been using 4 or 5 before period is due! Such a waste 🙈

Report
LittleBirdBlues · 12/11/2017 19:31

I'm 13 dpo today so could actually test tomorrow as af due on Tuesday. But I have had such clear period signs this morning I simply can't imagine it could be positive! But then again, early pregnancy symptoms and pms can be fairly similar can't they?

I've felt lots of pressure in my womb today, to the point of having to unbotton my jeans when sitting down. I don't normally get this at symptom pre af, but maybe I've just never paid attention....

Sigh.

It's annoying isn't @LittleBirdBlues
Every little symptom gets so over analysed and suddenly you become so much more aware of your body!

Report
LittleBirdBlues · 12/11/2017 19:38

@dinomania I thought I was doing really well this month as week was so busy I didn't have time to stop and think at all! But now that stress has gone I feel very aware of everything again!

How are you getting on?

Report

Hi, can I join please :) I'm 9dpo (and stupidly have started testing already...BFNs of course) so I am holding off now until 13dpo after asking DP to hide the last frer! The BFNs have made me think it's not happening this time...but I will hang on to the last bit of hope when I test again on Thursday as my rational mind knows I've been testing far too early!
