No Matter What and Goodbye Mog both make me "read a bit wobbly" as DD puts it. :o

The Christmas Miracle of Jonathon Toomey makes my cry all the way through - its a christmas book, so should only be out in December but ds loves it and I sob through it.

I love Once There Were Giants. I did have a tear in my eye reading it to DS once - the bit where the girl looks out for her mum when she's at preschool? I said to DS "she misses her mummy", and he nodded and pointed at himself as if to say me too :( he's not even 2 yet! I felt guilty cos I work part time

That one about Gilbert the shark. I didnt realise what it was about until too late.

If I was the sort to cry I would at that book.

Mummy loves me. Its a dear little book and I bought it for DS2 when DD was sick and I had to keep leaving him to go into hospital with her. I cant even look at the bloody thing now.

Naughty Kitten. I can still hear my darling DD's little voice saying 'Naughty Kitten' as the punch line to each page when she was tiny Sad

Ooh, this always gets me, too!

There's one about a Patchwork quilt that has me all wobbly, too!

Actually-I cry at adverts...

I love you forever gets me every time - partly because we were going through the reversal of parent/child roles the first time we read it and it brings all those feelings back.

Danny the champion of the world, at the end, also. Where he says 'what I have been trying to tell you all along is that my father was the most amazing man....'

Love You Forever

Cry like a baby...

I bought it for my mum years ago.. and my children.. made a song of the main, repeated theme, that my older-and oh-so-cynical children still recite.. Grin
