Early, late on on date?

Just wondered how many of you had your babies on due dates?

How many had babies early/late with no medical reason?

I had induction with DD at 39 +5.

DS was born on his due date. I'm currently 38+5 with DS2, all being well he will be born by c-section at 39+4.

Dd1 was a week early
dd2 came on her due date (by my dates not the hospitals/scan dates).

dd3 40+3
ds 40+10

all natural, no inductions

there's another Mum at school who had all 3 of her ds on their due dates, none induced. She is very organised though

Marne were the scan dates a lot different to your own dates?

I don't know many peole who have had babies early without any medical reason, but know soooo many that have gone 'overdue'.

10 days earlier than edd, natural, although was probably in response to being threatened with induction due to growth issues.

So it really is an ld wives tale that your second/third stc will be earlier.

Not too bad, feeling very big and fed up now, and sick of people pointing out how huuuuuuuuge I am. Dd went into her own room for one night before I brought her back into our room. Dh despairs.

DS was 12 days earlier than edd and DD was 12 days late no induction

DS was 4 days late officially, but I did go into labour on the date I'd calculated according to my ovulation (he was born the next day though).

I only know of one baby actually born on their due date. His mum was one of those incredibly smug 1st-time pregnant people who assured us all that it would all go smoothly and perfectly because she was doing her breathing etc. How we all laughed. Then she turned out to be right.

dc1 40+11 (after induction at 40+10) -by LMP date
dc2 39+6 spontaneously -based on ovulation date

dc3 currently cooking at 38+2 -based on approx ovulation date

dd1 on due date. Was having quite severe contractions in swimming pool changing rooms as thought would go for a swim to ease back ache.. After all the baby wasn't going to come on the due date was it??

dd2 38 + 2. Waters broke then contractions came thick and fast.

ds @ 41 + 6wks - induced

and to be fair apart from ds i have erratic cycle and had to go by hospital measurements as with both dd's I hadn't had an AF for 6mths when I fell pg.

I could be certain with Ds as we had only had sex once since having DD2 9mths ealier.

DS2 31+3 emCS due to placenta praevia
DS3 40+10 VBAC [v proud]
DS4 - who knows?? Hoping for another VBAC

DS1 11 days late, natural birth on induction date.
DS2 11 days late - induced.
If I am ever lucky enough to have a dc4, will just add 11 days to due date!
