I've just ordered this, planning to give it to in-laws on christmas eve (my parents live abroad so will just get a phone call!) We won't have had a scan before xmas.

We are!

I have bought a little merry Christmas card that we could put a scan pic in.

I've booked a private scan as my 12 week one isn't until 2nd of jan!

We are! And I can’t cope with the wait it’s killing me haha.

I’m thinking of doing a little box and telling my mum and dad it’s a joint present, with a personalised baby grow, little booties, a scan etc. I was also thinking of doing Christmas crackers with a scan in them! X

Yessss!

No idea what I will do but I was thinking of buying personalised Christmas baubles that say grandma and grandpa and due date as a present to open.
I will be 12 weeks the week after Christmas. But close enough Grin

Hey. I think I'm a year behind your pregnancy on dates. Think 12 weeks will be week after Christmas

Yes!
Have just started giving this some thought won’t have a scan before Christmas
I can print my own mugs and coasters so was thinking about making probably a mug with grandma/grandad on serving them a drink in it and seeing how long it takes them to notice 😂

@ashlee89 I'm new here and still finding my way around. Just realised your post was from this year so our dates must actually be aligned! Smile

So we are buying each set of parents a homemade photo calendar entitled ‘The grandchildren’ as they have grandchildren already from my siblings on both mine and husband’s side.
The months will each have pictures of designated grandchildren.
Our due date is June 2021 so on that month we are using some sort of obvious image - scan picture, dog with plaque, that sort of thing. See how long it takes them to notice!

We will be about 14 wks Xmas time so it’s good timing as we would have passed 12 week threshold.

Love to everyone xx

We are going to tell our parents / siblings at Christmas . Having an early scan on the 20th and just ordered these lovely box frames from Etsy to put them in . ( I don’t know how to add a pic or if I can I’m new here )

Hopefully they will all be pleased my DH is very nervous about telling my mum he thinks she will go mad 🙈 I think she will be somewhat shocked but will then be really happy x

Telling just my parents and OH’s mum on Xmas day, but will only be 10 weeks so a little sceptical! Bought some Xmas scratch card pregnancy reveals from Etsy which are really lovely, just feeling a little anxious about telling them but no idea why!
