DS(10) doesn't like minty toothpaste

Any ideas for non minty toothpaste for DS? We have been using Wilko's strawberry flavoured toothpaste but they seem to have discontinued it. We have also tried Tom Maine's Silly Strawberry one, but only seem to be able to get it on-line. Have just ordered some and they sent the wrong one, want the fluoride one.

Would really like to be able to buy it in the shops, so can anyone recommend non minty or very mild mint flavoured toothpaste that is easily available?

My son is the same age and has the same problem. We use either the plak smacker cool berry toothpaste or the strawberry hello kitty one from asda.

My Ds 8 does not like minty toothpaste I either. I have always made him use the mint. I bought him the crest mild and mint, he has aqua fresh at the momnet which compared to my Colgate is not as minty... He now tolerates minty doesn't enjoy it but I personally think he has to get used to it.

There's a herby one in Lidl I think.

And Holland and Barrett have a few - a big brand is kingfisher, but they do fluoride and non fluoride versions so you'd have to carefully check!

Will he eat mint sweets? My dd (4) didn't like mint tooth paste until I have her a tic tac, she loved it, now she will have minty toothpaste.

Appreciate that your child is older though.

We have a fruity one from Sainsbury and sometimes from boots. They're aimed at younger children but have ok fluoride content. Mine would not countenance mint... toothbrush is tricky enough some days!

There are a few. OralB do one called Berry Blast or something. Weirdly I find it impossible to find minty children's toothpaste!! All the supermarkets around here only seem to sell the fruity children's ones!

My DH hates mint toothpaste. After much hunting, I've found that Tesco do a strawberry one, which contains fluoride and has been given his seal of approval
