Never ever will Keith be in fashion. I think someone on here knows a Keef. How about Heath?

I think it's worse than Kevin....you can't even say Keith out loud without being all nasal and pathetic sounding....Keeeeeeeeeth.
Urgh. It's revolting. It's more Nigel than Kevin. It's on a par with Doris and Janet.

One of my best friends is a Keith. Lovely, lovely guy. But very very camp, so I always associate the name with that and would neve ruse it ....

lynniep · 22/05/2009 17:37

oh no. DH's stepdad is Keith. It might be old fashioned, but its not good. My step-mum suggested I call our future DC 'Ian' the other day. I feel much the same about that...

Report
Tinker · 22/05/2009 17:46

Ian's awful.

I have always hated this name...it reminds me of corned beef!

Dreadful. Please don't do it.

Oh, and also please consider this from Reeves and Mortimer:

'A priest with some yeast in between his teeth and his friend called Keith who's a hairpiece thief.'

Not relevant, but amusing nonetheless.
