If you had to pick a name that you would immediately consider 'beautiful' on hearing it, what would it be?

Juliet, Annabel, Flora, Clara, Marianne, Susannah, Leonora, Emily

There are other names I like but I consider them strong first then beautiful; eg Beatrix, Penelope or Claudia.

I have heard of girls called ceilidh in America, but not with that spelling, however, and it always sounds strange now because people use it as not just a party here but as a verb, as in 'to go ceilidhing' .

Eilidh is Helen in Scots Gaelic, however.

i wonder where these Scots got this 'ceilidh' business, then. they have evenings here called 'ceilidhs', and some will call the evening party after their wedding (the marriage is not valid if performed after 6PM) a ceilidh rather than a reception.

Amelie is lovely . My mother's mother was an Amelie and she was physically a very beautiful woman.

My two dds are Chloe and Lucy - I think they are really pretty names.
Names I also think are beautiful and that I wanted to use before DDs were born but DH didn't like seem to be colours:-
Amber, Jade, Opal, Magenta.
I also think Jasmine is lovely.
