I am eternally grateful to anyone who can be bothered to look at this...I am getting bored with it myself

DH and I have now reached a stalemate.
the only names we can agree on are Nancy and Lola.

neither of them really do it for me, but are the least awful of DH's choices and the only ones that he likes of my choices.

Is lola getting too popular now?

Nancy is a top name imo.

Do you need more suggestions?

My dh wanted Elinor if ds was a girl and I wasn't overly keen but now I think its a lovely name.

Nancy is lovely, agree.

Without wanting to rehash the whole pain of it what other names have been on the drawing board? Perhaps we can think of one in the same vein that neither you have considered, that you both love...

Or if we can't, unless dh is having this one for you, you get to decide!

Heated we had the following:

Flora - general consensus on here was too cruel due to margarine...spreads easily jokes

Lila - i think sounds like lilo and also put off by it being kate moss' daughters name

Florence - we have a fred so would have florence and fred (tesco)

Pearl - Dh doesn't like

Ruby - DH doesn't like

Tabitha - DH doesn't like and is a cats name i guess!

I love Lola!

There are none around here.

I didn't use it for DD as DH kept singing "her name was Lola" every time I mentioned it.

On another naming thread I saw a link posting Lola to the urban dictionary which was a bit . No idea if it really is used as a slang word.
