Pia Juliet
Luca Henry

love Luca (was swoony character in chick lit book set on the isle of Capri)

EffiePerine Wed 09-Jul-08 19:56:32

I would go for

Isla Beatrix

Rafael something but not keen on the middle names (I think Henry would sound odd with your first name choices)

EffiePerine Wed 09-Jul-08 19:56:53

actually what about Rafael James?

S1ur Wed 09-Jul-08 19:58:17

I love Pia and Eva, beautiful names

would go well with
Pia Juliet Bolo
Eva Beatrix Birolo

I also love Luca
Luca Henry Bosilo

Their all pretty lovely imo. Italian is a good range to choose from smile

Girls: first names I like Pia and Everly, middle names I like them all but I don't think that Harper goes with any of your first name choices tbh.

Pia Beatrix is my favourite.

Boys: I like all of your first names and I really like Henry and Austin from your middle names list. Less keen on Jasper though still ok imo, really dislike Hudson.

ScaryHairy Wed 09-Jul-08 20:02:18

Gosh, I like most of those.
Good choices!

elmoandella Wed 09-Jul-08 20:03:29

ruby beatrix?

i like eva beatrix

could you use luciano instead of luca? it would get shortened to luca anyway and goes with any of the middle names

keevamum Wed 09-Jul-08 20:06:27

Love Pia, Eva and Isla. LOVE Luca and Milo. Not too keen on any of these with the middle names you have suggested. Personally I think Pia, Eva or Isla would suit something with one syllable like Rose or Grace and likewise for the boys names a middle name like Jack or James. However, as is often the way with middle names it may be you have chosen your middle names due to their family meaning/heritage. Maybe they could have 2 middle names instead? Just my opinion obviously totally your choice.

Sicily and Luca are both gorgeous!

Sicily Harper is lovely tho tbh I really all the names listed.

Absolutely vital not to mention your preferences to close family and friends (I've learnt this lesson the hard way!)

Matteo is my fav for the boys but they are all good...

dizzydixies Wed 09-Jul-08 20:12:11

Eva and Isla for me with Beatrix

Luca and Milo but not too sure if they go with the middle names

<<hijack>> hatrick really has it come that quickly that you're now overdue?!?! shock

JoanCrawford Wed 09-Jul-08 20:12:37

I really LIKE all the names

Cynthia32 Wed 09-Jul-08 20:15:15

I love Luca and Alessandro
Also love Sicily but would spell it Cecily.
What do you think of the name Roma for a girl?

janeite Wed 09-Jul-08 20:17:55

Ist name girl - only like Eva / I like Cecily but not Sicily fwiw.

Middle Names girl - love Juliet and Beatrice (not Beatrix)

Boys' Names - like Raphael (this spelling not F); love Luke and Lucas but not Luca so much.

Middle Names - like Jasper and maybe Henry

I really don't like: Everly, Pia, Harper, Perla, Hudson, Austin, Arlo and Matteo - but as always on these threads, that's just my opinions so do ignore!

Hulababy Wed 09-Jul-08 20:19:49

From your choices in OP:

I am not keen on Pia, Sicily, Everley, Harper or Perla. Juliet ad Beatrix are ok. Not sure Juliet works with Isla. I actually prefer Eve and Evie to Eva.

Isla Beatrix
Eva Juliet
Eva Beatrix

Of these I not as keen on Rafael, Arlo, Austin or Hudson. Not sure avout Jasper but ok.

Luca/Matteo/Milo - not sure if Henry or Jasper work with it as well

I think the combination that works best is:
Alessandro Henry

OurHamsterisevil Wed 09-Jul-08 20:21:52

Like most of them. Particularly the more unusual ones as I like to think that children will be individual and not have the same name as 4 other kids in their class.

Mavornia Wed 09-Jul-08 21:58:56

Luca Henry sounds great

For a girl:

Eva Juliet

I also love

Alessandra (lovely shortened to Alessa)

FlirtyThirty Thu 10-Jul-08 09:50:52

Not keen on Pia (too close to urinate!), Sicily (this is an island not a baby's name to me), Everly (just not very girly...I keep thinking of the Everly Brothers), Harper is a boy's name and Beatrix is not Italian enough. chosen combo would be
Juliet Perla (very pretty!) or Eva Juliet

For boys..I like lots of your choices (except Milo and Arlo):

Luca Jasper
Matteo Austin
Alessandro Henry

Girls (no particular order)
First Names

Pia - v. 'essex'
Sicily - omg - just buy a white ford escort
Isla - depends on your accent - i dont like it
Eva - everyone is eva ava
Everly - brothers?

Middle Names

Juliet - no
Perla - hell no ( see white ford escort)
Beatrix - this might be the first decent name
Harper - are you shitting me?

Boys Names (no particular order)

Luca - pretentious
Matteo - pretentious
Milo - pretentious
Arlo - do you have such interesting ancestry to carry this shit off?
Rafael - you need three more turtles
Alessandro - there are no words.

Middle Names

Jasper - <laugh> this is actually sane in comparison to the above
Hudson - do you live in the USA?
Austin - ditto
Henry - normality at last

AbbeyA Thu 10-Jul-08 12:31:33

I dislike them all! Eva Juliet is the only girls one that I would find passable. I agree with Custardo about the boys ones-pretentious -unless they happen to be family names. Henry is nice.(I think that Hudson was a butler in a TV series.)

Wezzle Thu 10-Jul-08 12:38:48

Love Pia for a girl especially with an Italian surname

How about Santino for a boy shortened to Sonny [Godfather fan]
