Opinions on my boys names list?

Think were pretty settled on a girls name so just playing with the ideas for boys names. What are you favourites/what ones do you hate?

I realise how most of them are pretty similar now I have typed them all out if it helps, surname is Wilce, pronounced similar to 'will-s'

Also, would it be best to register him as Jake or Jacob and just shorten it to Jake?

I think the only usable name on that list is Conrad.

Conrad is gorgeous. Jake's passable.
The others are awful sorry, especially Mason and Jensen To me theyre just Naughty names, with parents who let them do as they please.
We all build up a perception when we hear a name.

Chase - a distant family member has just had a baby Chase. I can't say i like it and it hasn't had the greatest response from family (though not voiced to the parents obviously)

Jackson - it's ok but I prefer just Jack. The spelling also looks too much like a surname to me. An old school name has a Jaxon which is less surname looking but I still just prefer Jack

Kason - awful

Lawson - dislike. Too surnamey
Grayson- I prefer just Grey

Jake - like Jacob but dislike Jake

Conrad - nice. The best so far

Dean - very dated

Jenson - button. I like him but dislike the name

Mason - better than Jason
Preston - eurgh
Carson - ditto

Samson - love. Such a classic. Doesn't seem to fit your style though despite the son at the end

I think I love Conrad the most, which I didn't think when I posted this so hope the OH agrees!

❤️ Conrad, such a great name, love Rad as a shortening.
Another name I like, is Cole.
From your list, I only like Mason, or Jack is cool, but not Jackson.

I like Mason, Chase and Jensen. They aren't necessarily names I would choose for my own DC, I'm too boring traditional but I think they are nice names That being said, I am not really sure Chase goes with your surname. Might be too same-y?

I don't like any names that sound like surnames (sorry!) so for me the favourites would be - Jake and Dean. Jake is probably my favourite of those.

Chase is one of the Paw Patrol dogs. That might not bother you but my 3 yo and every other toddler I know is obsessed with them.
Actually, maybe that would be cool? Having a chase in your nursery class?

Samson is utterly fabulous! One of my favourite names. I quite like Conrad too, and Jake is nice if a little dull. How about Joss?

The others aren't really to my liking, but I think we have very different tastes.

From your list it's got to be either Conrad (cool name!) nn Rad! Also 💙 Samson - it was on my shortlist - nn Sonny. Really, really dislike the majority of your others. Jake is fine but a bit meh.

I really like Grayson. Gray is a great nickname. We would be considering Grayson/Harrison if DH's stupid surname didn't end in 'son'.
