For a girl!

Names we kind of like but aren't quite grabbing us / can't use for whatever reason. Any suggestions welcome. We have Quincy and Hero (ages 4 and 2). I seem to err towards Greek origin names, DH just likes "hippy names" or unusual ones. The ones on this list are ones we kind of like but haven't quite grabbed us enough. She will be mixed race with Jamaican and Jewish heritage - we have looked through names of those origins but Aphra is the only one we really liked.

India
Star - would love to use but feel like along with Hero, it's a bit much i.e. One's a hero, one's a star Grin
Ione
Indie
River
Rain
Aphra
Echo - would love this but again, it's a bit much along with Hero
Phoenix - I love this but DH vetoed.

Gone through all the variations of Indira, Imani, Indiana etc.

Love things like India Arie but DH says it's a bit much to straight up copy a singer's name, haha.

Nothing is totally grabbing us but this is the general feel of what we like. Any suggestions gratefully welcomed!

Indie is obscenely popular where I am at the moment...

The only one I like from your list is Phoenix.

How about Lux? Nova?

How about Sawyer? It's not a Greek or nature name but fits with your gender neutral / surname style

Aphra is nice and I really like Star too! I'm one of the few on MN who does I think.

I'm sure someone's already suggested it, but how about Calliope?
