Nina is lovely, I'm not sure about ninette to be honest, I've never heard it before but it sounds a bit like a product rather than a name to me, sorry.

I love Nina, Ninette sounds like a nicotine replacement therapy.

Love Nina. I know a Nannette if that helps. She's lovely and sparky and is know as Netty.

Definitely not Ninette, it sounds a bit made up fancy, and the obvious nickname is Ninny.

I love Nina, and dislike Ninette. I like Nanette though. My grandmother was Nicolette, which is pretty I think but perhaps a bit nicotine-ish.

As it's for a middle name I'd think more about which works better with first and surname though.

I like both. If it were a first name I'd give yourself and her, options by choosing Ninette and calling Nina as a nickname if you want.

As it's a second name, I'd probably choose Nina

But I think if you really like a name, choose it as a first name. I like second names to be more about honouring someone (family, friend, historical figure) you admire
