Already have an Edward and am looking for a boys name to go with it. Like Arthur and Henry and keen to know thoughts and other suggestions. Thanks!

They are both fab names. I think Arthur slightly pips because I think Art is cooler on a teen/twenty something than Henry.

Arthur!

Thank you! I do think Arthur slightly has it for me. I just don't really like Art or Artie as nicknames. Although I did read Arto as one on here for Arthur which is quite cute.

Arthur (know a horrid boy called Henry!)

Henry never gets shortened so why shorten Arthur? They are both great names that shouldn't be abbreviated.

I went to school with an Arthur his life was made a misery every day, awful name.

Henry, love it, and also can be Harry, like prince Harry.

Love both but prefer Arthur just because I suggested it to dh for ds's name and he immediately said 'Hoover' that took the shine off of it for me. Arthur is my no1 name on my 'if I ever have another ds' list Smile

Where do you live? My DS says "Arfur" accents can make it different. Wink

Does Edward have a nn?

Edward and Barnaby would be v sweet, or Edward and Timothy. But I suspect you like more 'solid' and less 'cute' names. :)
