LOVE Juliet! My favourite of your list by FAR, a timeless beauty - YES, YES!
Cate is lovely as well, but would prefer it spelt with a K.
Not keen on Matilda or Edith.
Olive is quite a marmite choice, but I actually quite like it (although wouldn't want to be called it myself FWIW!)
Jess is nice and also timeless.
Lilian is ok.

I like Juliet best, followed by Matilda. The rest I don't personally like, though nothing actually wrong with them!

Juliet is the nicest, it's lovely.

Quite like Matilda.

Agree with some others, Juliet is lovely, the nicest.

Jess would be lovely too if something else were added on the end, like that it is only a nickname.

Jessica, Jessamy, Jessamine, or Jessie? And then call her Jess for short.

Don't really like Edith much, and Olive is horrible. Olivia is lovely, though?

Juliet is the one I like.

Sorry maybe that was harsh. I should say that Olive doesn't appeal to me as my only associations are:

  1. small green or black thing that goes in a jar, or with pizza
  2. Olive Oyl, Popeye's girlfriend

Also I just don't think it has a nice sound.

But it seems to be becoming popular for some reason, so other people must have other associations, I suppose.

I love them all (that doesn't help does it!) apart from maybe Jess but that might be because there are quite a few Jessicas around here so its quite popular.

If it had to put them in order:
Juliet
Olive
Lilian
Matilda
Cate
Edith
Jess

Like them all except Olive but that's because I'm Olivia and when I was a kid nobody could pronounce it so I got called Olive or Oliver.

I don't like Cate or Matilda. None of the others excite me but nothing wrong with them either. Probably Lillian is my fave by small margin.
