Baby names

Hayden or Leon?

Love both these names and can't decide between them so I'd love your thoughts please!

I know I'm going to be outing myself but I think it's necessary to say I'm a Lisa... which puts me off Leon a little...
Our surname is Aldridge, DS1 is Nathan.

What do you think? Thanks!

LEON. For absolute sure

I'd go for Leon, which I like. I think it's ok with Lisa as you're not going to be paired up much. Leon and Nathan are nice together.

(I don't like Hayden)

Hayden is a family name for us so I like it for that.
Hayden attracts the Chav label on MN, beware.
I really don't like Leon, it screams Naff to me, but fairly popular on MN.

Leon. Much better than Hayden!

I like both. I think Leon and Lisa are fine together.

Hate Leon.

Only ever seen Hayden spelled like the composer. But I like both spellings. Haydn look more familiar to me though.

I only know 2 Leons who are not naff at all, but from E Europe. It also makes me think of Trotsky, who was a pretty cool guy.

Is it pronounced High-dun then?

Leon.

Hayden, Jayden, kayden = done to death and chavy mainstream.

Leon for sure.
I can't put my finger on why I don't really like Hayden

Nathan and Hayden together doesn't work IMO so vote for Leon.

Wow, quick responses, thanks!

I think I would definitely go for Leon if my name wasn't Lisa - do they sound too similar or am I overthinking it?

Leon

You're over thinking it! They start with the same letter - similarity ends there.
