Tallulah...but you can't have a meek and mild Tallulah, she'd have to be out there and pretty confident to carry off a name like that.

Like Willow....beautiful but risky. If you end up with a beautifully curvaceous and cuddly Willow, it just doesn't fit!

Argh....misread, sorry.

I thought it was one of those choose your favourite threads. Blush

I love Tallulah, but not Phoebe.

Think Tallulah is lovely as a firstname, bit not great for a middle name.

I'm going to sound like a right knob, but IMHO, a middle name should sort of complement the firstname, not over shadow it/drown it out.

If your name is Phoebe Tallulah, I think the middle name will take centre stage.

I don't like Pheobe, it's the opposite of Tallulah..a bit wet meek and mild.

Don't listen to me, though!

Hate tallulah. Way too fussy for such a cool name like Phoebe.

Phoebe - is classic and lovely
Tallulah - is the pseudo name of an Xfactor charge tear who is really called Jane

Phoebe - great name, a classic
Tallulah - not so much, of the moment

It's a bit like mixing a good red wine, and a strawberry daiquiri imo

Interesting Misfitless, I think a middle name should be absolutely bonkers, the name you loved but didn't have the balls to use as a first name!

. I quite like Tallulah but its a bit like a name a minor celeb would give their child, a bit 'Bitsy-Blue' or 'Dixie-Dot' or one of those names.

Tallie is a good nn for Tallulah.

Phoebe is just a nothing name really. It doesn't signify an admirable character in a girl IMO.

Thanks everyone.
The more I say it the more I like it.
Phoebe is my current front runner if bubba is pink, and have been looking for middle names that end in an a sound that are 3/4 syllables long.
Like it with Amelia, Olivia, Isabella but something just doesn't seem special enough about them even though all lovely names.

I absolutely love Willow But DP will not go for it - he says I'm far too hippy lol agree Tallulah fits into the same bracket but probably wouldn't be brave enough to use it as a first name + DS is Noah and there's something about to matchy about them with thread sound being the same.

Honestly, middle names are completely irrelevant so use which ever name you like best.

Phoebe. As long as you don't mind her being called Feebs. Because that's what I think it will end up as!

Phoebe is lovely but I don't like Tallulah.

The actress who plays Cat Slater called her daughter that, enough said!
