Baby names

Would you name a baby after a brand of chocolate?

This is slightly hypothetical, but....

My family has Estonian roots and was looking at Estonian names. My favourite boys name is Kalev however it is a popular brand/make of chocolates. Would that put you off?

I highly doubt I will name a non English name but interested to hear opinions.

Wouldn't bother me as I've never heard of it as a brand

I thought you were going to say Hershey.

No, naming after chocolate would put me off. No more than naming my child Jack Daniel after the drink would anyway!

Kalev is nice, go with it!

I have a cousin who was named after a body spray... No, not impulse, fortunately it's not been around for as long as I can remember

I almost thought you were going to say "Terry".

Kalev sounds fine though! Smile

Turniptwirl I KNOW your cousin! Shock

She showed me the old TV ad for her namesake bodyspray! I can't believe there would be many more people out there named after bodysprays, can there?!

Lila Pause is a major global chocolate brand. Doesn't seem to put people of Lila.

Godiva would be great as a girl's name Smile

and Leonidas, Leo for short for a boy.
