Help needed naming a sister for Cordelia

HELP: Sibling name for Cordelia
Please help we are running out of time to name our second daughter.

Cordelia will be 14 months when her sister is born. We love her name, it suits her perfectly, my husband and I both chose it, and the response we have had to it has been lovely. She has no middle name and so her initials are CK.

We have gone through thousands of baby names. Many we have liked we have turned down because of family connections or not working with Cordelia.

There are a few still we like but not 100% on - please help by giving your opinions and suggestions:
Beatrix or Beatrice
Harriet or Harrietta
Felicity (have concerns about initial FK)
Matilda (rather popular in Australia)
Clementine
Jemima

I like Beatrice, Clementine and Felicity, and also quite like Harriet. However I'd drop Felicity from the list due to those initials.

Clementine and Cordelia - do you mind both starting with a C?
Beatrice and Cordelia - Beatrice is lovely although reasonably popular
Harriet and Cordelia - I think this works best :)

Cordelia and Clementine does sound imo like a summer drink Also since the sisters will be so close in age, maybe having different initials might be nice for them.

I grew up with a cordelia. not telling you her elder sister's name, but Victoria works well :) I like Harriet and Beatrice and Matilda from your list.

I like Jemima best from your list (but then, I know two sisters named Jemima and Cordelia which perhaps influences me...).

Agree with whoever said "Clementine and Cordelia" sounds a bit like a drink.

Would also rule out the FK initials.

Harriet and Matilda are both nice (although Harriet seems to be becoming very popular at the moment, if that sort of thing bothers you).

What about Clemency which I think is a lovely variation on Clementine? I like Beatrix and Jemima from your list. Also like Rosamond that someone mentioned up-thread.

Beatrix and Beatrice are ugly imho.

Harriet is beautiful. Harrietta is a bit much.

Felicity is lovely. I don't think FK will be a problem.

Matilda is very nice.

Clementine is horrid.

Jemima is ok.

And I know you've already named her,but Cordelia is truly beautiful,yet strong.A perfect choice.

i went to school with a Cordelia, her sister is Alice.
i think they work together quite well because the names are quite different.

If you're in the market for Harriet, I recently meet a really lovely, early 30s Henriette. Not Henrietta, but Henriette. I think it's really chic.

I would avoid Beatrice. It's popular now, and will date. Cordelia, on the other hand, won't - so I think you need another timeless sort of name. Same goes for Florence - over-used and boring now. Not fair for her sister to have a nice name, while she gets the dull and dated (well, it will definitely be by the time they're adults) one.

I like Jemima from your list.

Other than that, I would avoid names which end in 'ia' like Celia/Cecilia, Ophelia, as they're too matchy-matchy.
