Female Versions of Peter?

Anyone know of any other than Petra?

Would like to use a family name as a middle name even if it is a girl but can't think of how to feminise Peter (other than Petra which I'm not loving).

Peta is the 'girl' spelling.

peta? (maybe only if you are into animal rights though)

It's not an easy name to feminise. Could you just stick it in as it is (there must be girls with mn Peters what is an s here of there)

You could always use Cephas (less people know it so you could use it for a mn for a girl) And you still get Peter.

wearenotamused - I had wondered about that too. I'm not sure I'd love a man's mn though myself..

How about Petrina?

Petronella.

To be honest, I would stick with Petra if you really want to use this as a family name.

Just use Peter. My second middle name is a family surname which sounds quite masculine and I think i's cool.

Lucie Elizabeth Peter Smith.

Petrova! sounds terrible, but it's the great middle sister from ballet shoes, the one who hates ballet and really wants to be an engineer instead.

Piper, it starts with P and ends with R

I have a man’s middle name, it’s a good talking point at least! I hated it when I was younger but I reckon kids today wouldn’t be as bothered.

Peta (but obviously has the connotations of PETA).

If you take the meaning of Peter, it opens up gemstone names.

Petrova,

although it is very Russian sounding.

Isn't Petrova a surname rather than a first name? I think Petrov translates as Peterson
