Like Hester or Harriet or something? Possibly things that don't end 'a' or 'bel', but not too hairy-legged hockey player?!

I used to love Ruth but there is a not great one in the family...

Dd is called Elsa. Is Elsa and Hester too much ssssss?

Elsa and Harriet better than Elsa and Hester I think - though Hester is so lovely that it might be worth it anyway!

Ooh Frances is a good one. Elsa and Frances. Not desperately girly at all.

Flowerface Wed 10-Aug-11 17:30:05

How popular is Harriet these days?

I am desperate to have Josephine as the middle name (my mum's name) irrespective of how crazy it ends up sounding!!

Flowerface Wed 10-Aug-11 17:30:27

Frances is a good one too.
