Noah, Finlay & Oscar.

This one will be either Hugo or Isaac.

Ooh, I love Oscar. I have a little grandson called Oscar and it so suits him.

mugglewump - please forgive my stupidity if it is a common name, but how do you pronounce Niamh? Nie-am? There was a girl with this name at DD's nursery and I always meant to ask.

It's pronounced Neeve.

Neeve?? Really? Is it Gaelic or something? It's beautiful. I love the name Neve. How have I managed never to see this other spelling??

Yes, it's Neeve.
It's slightly different in the traditional Irish pronunciation, something like Nee-uv, but I'm English so it's Neeve!

I love it, always have and still do, even though I was advised against it, and still have interesting spellings and pronunciations of it.
Knife, is my favouriteGrin

I love it mugglewump!! It's a gorgeous name!

Flora is gorgeous.
I would have had a Tabitha if not Niamh, and now would go for Maud, but I love Flora.

Sometimes I think when DD leaves home I'll just buy loads of cats so I can have all the names I want!

Report
AnnieBeansMum · 05/11/2010 19:03

Oh I love Flora as well. I'm really hoping our next child is a girl as I have so many names in my head for girls. Boys names - nada.
