AIBU?

to think that M and S pants are pants!

I think the quality has really done down. Not enough lycra or stretchy stuff - they end up mishapen and ride up in all the wrong places. They must have changed the formula because I have been buying their 'briefs' multipacks for years.
I was unfaithful and tried a John Lewis multipack. So, so, so much better. Thicker, more lycra and wash really well. Similar price.
Sorry M and S, I think you pants are pants.

Yep. I got some from GAP the other day, so much better than M&S.

I bought some basic pants the other day and they are cut so low you could see more than I would want to show.

Oh darn I need to get some new nick and always go to M&S. They used to be the only ones that didn't ride up.

Blokes underpants have really gone down hill as well. The last lot I got were really baggy in the wrong place IYSWIM.

I have to agree with Jeremy Paxman on that one.

That's interesting Evenbetadad. Was Jeremy moaning about the socks too as I bought DH a huge multipack of socks from M and S about 4 months ago and the toes have worn through nearly all of them already.

I got some really cheap primark ones for after Ds was born expecting to throw them away but they have lasted quite well considering the price.

mousemole - yes and yes to your last two posts.

Socks too were not good. Too loose at the ankle and slipping down my foot as well as holes quickly appearing in the toe and underneath.

I did try both socks and underpants from Primark before I got the M&S ones and I have to say the Primark socks and pants were very stylish and snug in comparison. Good price too.

I shall be going back to Primark I think.

evenbetadad you need to try the John Lewis ones as well if you can. Will try Primark for DH's socks and undies too if you recommend.

mousemole - thanks for the John lewis recommendation. I had not thought of that. I can get them online too. Great

There is one thing that really annoys me about mens pants though. They cost a damn fortune. It really is the one piece of clothing that women can get much cheaper at the same quality level ... erm.. ... not that I have ever done a close inspection of course.
