Why don't you just say 'time for bed now' and send them up?

I hate these threads where you have to fill in the gaps yourself.

yes you are.
because you also have a say in how late they stay up.
why not implement a rule which means homework is done earlier, so that they get to bed on time?

Just make sure he gets all their clothes ready and lunchboxes packed!! YABU!!
Christ it's 10 o'clock...... stop the homework and remind him to start it next weekend a little earlier than Sunday night.

I do it. Get DD1 up and dressed and walk her to school. Pop DD2 in bed with DP before I go, walk back get the car and off to work.

Or if working nights, get DD1 up and to school, then back to bed.

Tis late, there will likely be suffering somewhere, you're right.

But why are they doing homework at 10.00 on a Sunday night?

My domestic organization would make Sweeny Todd look good, but my dcs have finished their homework by 6.00 on Sundays!
