for not getting my home delivery order correct again. A whole chunk of my shopping list (18 items) is missing in all. I had an annoying discussion with the driver that went like this: DRIVER - err, i think some of this order is missing ME - too right it is, any idea whats happened to it? DRIVER - err no ME - right, what happens now then? DRIVER - err I will look on my lorry again ME - ok thanks. The driver then jumps in the van and buggers off!!!
Anyway, I call Tesco and ask them where my shopping is. They tell me they will make a call to my local store and then stick me on hold for ages. She eventually comes back and says we think the rest of your shopping has been put on another van. She then offers to refund the goods but I NEED THEM, hence the reason I ordered them in the first place so then she tells me that someone will call me later today to tell me when they can deliver them.
So basically i've paid £5.99 for an incomplete order and a delivery slot that has gone from 2 hours to god knows how long and I've had to pay to speak to someone on the phone and to listen to sodding music whilst on hold. Not to mention having to deal with a twat in a van!
I also want to add that often the odd item is missing from my orders but I can cope with that. Each time that happened I had to call the helpline so I reckon that the cost of calls made to them should amount to a free weeks worth of shopping.
To add insult to injury, I have NO bread and am craving scrambled eggs on toast.
