To ask if you're 5ft 5 and size 10-12 how much you weigh?

I'm on a diet. I'm 5ft 5 and a 14 currently. I weigh 10st 6, down from 11st 1.

I used to be size 8 but I'm over 40 now so think 10 is more realistic.

If you're my height and a 10-12 what do you weigh? Is my goal of 8st 10 about right or too low?

That sounds quite low to me — I'm a size 10 and weigh about nine and a half. I suppose it depends on your shape though.

Sorry, meant to add that I'm more on the 8-10 size than the 10-12, but I think it's because I'm an hourglass so it's all evenly distributed!

I've been 9 stone before and was still a size 12 but could be a 10 in some things.

For me I think to be comfortably in a size 10 I'd need to below 9 stone.

I am 9st 11 and 5’ 5”, wear a 10 -12 but small of boob. At you target weight I wore 8 - 10 but then I had a waist ( more straight up and down now)

I’m 5’4” and 9.5. I’d say I was a ten based on the traditional sizing charts but it depends on the shop as some shops eg M and S come up big and some come up small. There is no standard sizing any more.
8.10 is fine but no one knows without seeing you what your frame is like. I’d prob get a bit skeletal under 9st but my 5’7” friend who is very fine boned and willowy wouldn’t.

62 kg. I have a fair amount of muscle though. Currently thinking about trying to drop a couple of kilos to see how that affects my training.

Thanks. Sounds like it's about right then. Just feels so hard to get there! I've never had to diet before but middle age has hit me hard. Joining a gym when School goes back too.

Oh and I am one of those "heavier than I look" people. Friends are surprised how much I weigh but I used to have muscle. I don't at the moment. I'm just fat.

I'm 5ft 3inches a size 10 and weigh 11 stone. My stomach is completely flat and I work out 3 times a week.

My sister on the other hand is the same height, same size but weighs 9 stone. She doesn't work out and has a really small frame so doesn't carry weight well as I do. I look 'skinnier' than her even though i'm not.

I'm around 11stone atm and a size 10 (they're are starting to feel snug) at 5 foot 5.. my "slim" weight is 9 stone 12 and I'm a size 8 at that weight.

I have big boobs and a small waist though and wear a lot of dresses/skirts. I wear skinny jeans or jeans with stretch.

It's so varied. If I was 8 stone 10 I'd look ill. I am planning to get back down to 9 stone 12 though and have taken up running and will be doing the fast800 once the kids are back at school and I know what day it is lol!

My BMI is 25 which says i'm overweight, my GP told me not to worry too much about that as the extra weight is on my boobs (34F) and not round my waist.

This really confuses me because i'm 5'6 and size 10, but I weigh (and always seem to weigh!) around 11 stone. I'm not really sure why? My weight is evenly distributed and no like major problem areas/don't seem overweight/eat really healthily and walk/cycle constantly. I have been the same weight for years and it doesn't seem to change much even when I go on more of a health kick and look lighter, or even right after pregnancy when I looked much heavier.

Anywhere between 10st 3lb and 10st 11lb, depending on water-retention/whether I've been on the KitKats or not. It doesn't tend to make too much of a difference to how my clothes fit, and I can usually lose any excess relatively quickly (although it's definitely getting harder with age).

5ft 4 and just over 10st, size 12. Large of boob though so often a 14 on the top. I'd love to be around 9st or a bit less, reckon that would be perfect. I'm lazy and I like cake though.
