It's one of those things really where you can't and shouldn't make a judgement without knowing the full story, IMO.

Maybe they needed medicine (or gin)?

9pm's early for some........

Remember going to get my dad some cigars at about 3 am in the morning, and there was a bloke there with two tots in tow.

Apparently it happens throughout the night quite often.

I must admit I see it an awfull lot in my Tescos but I live near the airport so there are loads of shift workers and maybe this is the only time they can shop or maybe they only have one car . I think its a shame the kids are up so late but you dont see many crying or whinging . Its not my kids so hey why worry .

Oh I really don't get it.

Whilst there may be a milloin reasons for taking them out, I cannot imagine why it's necessary to have them out in nightwear?

A friends DD as a 5:30-6 swiming lession. She normally arrives in swimming costume with dressing gown over the top, with random shoes/boots. She normally arrives at 5:28-5:35, strips off in the public viewing area and darts into the pool. She gets her DS (18m) ready for bed in teh waiting area, and then her DD puts her PJs & dressing gown on and head home.

How long can it really take to get ready for bed when you get home? She ony lives 5 min drive away.

Don't see the problem, it means they can be put straight to bed when they get home.

They might have needed something urgently.

It's happened to me before, and once my kids are in their jama's they aint getting out of them!

handlemecarefully · 20/04/2007 23:30

Okay - it's probably not harming the children etc so why judge, but you've got to admit, it is odd!
