Just looking for opinions really.
Has anyone had any success or bad reactions?.
I don't want to smoke or vape it. Just use a dropper preferably
Thanks for your help.

I assume you don't mean hemp oil like you can get in the supermarket.

Are you in the U.K. Op? If so the market is obviously unregulated and you really don't know what you will be ingesting. You won't know the THC vs CBD content which is important. Although I am an advocate for the use of cannabis as a medicinal product, I don't think it is suitable for relieving stress as a very common side effect is paranoia, not sure if this is relevant when using oils but it certainly is when ingesting or smoking it. There are better ways of relieving stress than turning to substances whether that is prescription pharmaceuticals, alcohol or illegal drugs.

I use it and find it beneficial, I use CBD Brothers Blue mix.

Yes in UK. Do not want to smoke or ingest it because of those side affects. This is why I was wondering about oil.

My uncle uses it. He's so much better in terms of his depression and he has also managed to not drink alcohol for a year since he began. He also uses a dropper. It's helped anxiety for him too.

I have a relative who uses it, she has said that it has helped her sleep much better.

I vape CBD. It has massively helped with my sleep, though not so much with everything else!
If it's a placebo, I'm happy with that.

Can I ask where you get this from? Is it legal? I've been considering it, but not sure where to look for good information.

CBD is synthesised from hemp. Contains no THC

BeyondNoone · 18/10/2017 12:50

So yes, it's legal

DH was using it for a while - he used to buy it from Amazon! He thought it was helping. AFAIK he's not using it now but I don't know why.

I use it for anxiety and insomnia. It's highly effective.
It doesn't contain THC, or at least only trace amounts. It definitely doesn't make you stoned.

That's really interesting maxthemartian, as I was hoping to have help with anxiety. Where do you get yours from, if you don't mind me asking?

Its seems best to start at a low dose for a week or two then gradually build it up until you feel you are at the right dosage.
I started with 2 drops in the morning and use 2 before bed too.
I use it for joint pain mainly. It helps me sleep as well.

How do you take it if you don't ingest or smoke/ vape it?

Report
raveinpeace · 18/10/2017 13:11

When I said I didn't want to ingest it I was referring to cannabis not and oil.
Thanks for all the replies.
Has anyone experienced negative affects ?
