It's really affecting me as I am exhausted all day but I can't stop! Anyone know?

Me too..
stress?
I think I’m overheating!
Would love a whole nights sleep though!

Vitamin D deficiency kept bumping me out of sleep...could that be a factor?
Stress, or the fact it’s now a bit of a habit for you, could be others.

Me too. Think it may be stress, thinking about work, family. Also menopause, get too hot so that wakes me up and then the brain starts thinking and I'm awake.

The hot water coming on does it for me. When I'm up I don't notice it, but it seems to stir me anyway.

Depression can cause early waking.
In my case it's the 15 month old...

My youngest wakes me up. He's snoring his head off in my bed next to me now. Been awake an hour 😕

Kids are a nightmare for it, aren't they? Smile

Oh god, me too for the last couple of months! No waking child, no hot water pipes, no menopause, no ambient noise, and no spike in stress -- and I'm not depressed. Maybe I should investigate Vit D...?

What time did you go to sleep? Maybe go to sleep later and you will wake up later.

It’s so horrible. Sometimes I try to get back to sleep but it’s so frustrating. Other times I get up and read or watched tv I binge watched The Good Place on Netflix one Sunday am

I’ve tried one form of HRT and it made no difference - I’m going to the well woman clinic at my gp to see if there are any other types which might suit me.

me too. But I've always been an early riser and quite enjoy it. I just get up and go for a jog or read and make the most of the extra day. I find I only get tired if I stop!

Another here. 5.10am every bloody morning. My eyes are getting blacker and blacker by the day. I've tried going to bed later but no, I still wake early. It's really frustrating and is making me tired and grumpy.

I wake early most days, between 5 and 6. I think that it is years of little children waking me up! I have worked out though that most nights I am asleep by 10/ 10.30 so I get 6-7 hrs most nights. Now I either chill out or I get some work done. I am very lucky as most of my work is at home and to my own schedule so if I fancy a quick sleep after lunch then I can do. I do feel better now I have accepted that this is my natural timetable. I am turning into my mother!!

Me too - typically at 5.30. I am 45. I put the start of it down to stress last year and the fact that working from home means I can get up and work off some of my endless to do list. I am not stressed now but it is still happening. I think it has now become a habit that is impossible to reset. I am at least able to make productive use of the time.

I have this. It's been ever since my ddad died a few months ago. I'm physically and mentally exhausted, but I wake up every night at least once

Me too ! It's a viscous circle because I'm always knackered early evening so end up going to bed about half 9.
When people lovingly talk about long lies I feel if I even got to 7 am it would be a long lie

I get this, sometimes waking at 2 or 3 but I know that's on stressy days

Think you need less sleep as you get older, and need to adjust to that, but it's soooo hard to stay up later so you sleep later, and doesn't always work
