I saw this book among a bunch of other romances in a waiting room i was stuck in today. The cover art ("art") really stood out. Am I the only one who bursts out laughing at this cover? Why is it so funny? Something about the muscles and the hair?

I sent the pic to my sister and she too had a similar reaction, and since this morning, nanny Jake has become an inside joke for us, guaranteed to have us snorting. Nanny Jake LOLOL

I read something a few years ago about romantic fiction no longer being about Mr Handsome Doctor ignoring Ms Nice but Shy Nurse until the last chapter when he realises that she was his perfect woman after all and proposes without ever taking her on a date. Now its about men who work hard and want to have babies :o

Presumably Nanny Jake is a nanny for a single mother who just wants to be lurved after being used and dumped by the father of her baby who ran off with her best friend. He will have been married and lost his wife in tragic circumstances and they fall in lurve after much misunderstanding including Ms Single Mother mistaking him having a girlfriend when in fact he was just meeting his sister......
