I work in customer service and while I would never count I do roll my eyes (call centre! They can't see me and I stay polite to them) when people waffle for five minutes in answer to a yes or no question.

I will ask DH a question at dinner then realise he has a mouthful (fair enough) - look expectantly at him for the answer once he has laboriously chewed and swallowed....then he pauses and puts another mouthful in as if I am not sat there, question hanging in the air..

Thank god it's not just me. I'm trying to work out if DH is going deaf or is just bloody rude. He blames household noises for ignoring me but ffs stop faffing about then.
