Thorntons tastes of nothing too.

The only chocolate I like now is Lidl/aldi, and dairy milk.

Cadbury's isn't it. It is all crap nowadays, sadly.

I thoroughly recommend m&s swiss milk chocolate. Bought some today, it was so good I ate 2 bars Confused
I've fine right off Cadburys, it's the palm oil that makes it taste so awful.

I find Twirls are the only things that taste ok.

Hotel Chocolat all the way people.

Thorntons/Nestle/Cadbury's have all gone greedy and trying to fob us off with some shite

Rolo's have gone to shit too. Waitrose own brand chocolate is nice though and the Aldi/Lidl stuff is lovely.

Yeah. They're awful. Cadbury was the only milk chocolate I liked so I'm doubly p*ed off.
Everything's praline now, which I hate.
Fruit and Nut or Crunchie are still just about edible, but I'd rather just throw the rest away.
I was bought Milk Tray for Mothers' Day last year and I ended up chucking it out at Christmas, when I realised only 1 or 2 had been eaten (I tried one more and then remembered why I'd left them). Don't get me started on Roses either. Again, they're mostly praline now and they taste like crap (really awful aftertaste).

I thought the same at Christmas. Twirls do still taste good though.

I agree M&S swiss chocolate, and also Aldi Moser Roth(?) are both lovely. I got given some Merci chocolates for Christmas, they were v nice too, faintly reminiscent of Terry's Neopolitans (whose loss I still mourn).

I was devastated when Roses changed their wrappers to be all the same plastic, vacuum packed shape instead of proper shiny cellophane and foil sweety wrappers with twisty ends. Then I discovered that the chocolates inside are shiter than the wrappers, so I stopped caring so much. I will never buy them again.

And Thorntons, which used to be a bit posh and aspirational, is now the shitest of all Stale, oversweet, all the chocolates tasting the same in spite of having different names.

Quality Street are imo still OK, the last of the chocolates of my childhood.

I love m&s chocolate, and those cheap shell chocolates.

Don't get me started on Toblerone Angry, the gaps DO make a difference.

The milk tray bastards removed the turkish delight. I will never forgive them.

M&S Christmas chocolates were lovely. Swiss truffles I think.
