YANBU. When I was on the online dating scene, I used to get called hun, babe and...princess.

It used to immediately put me off, because I found it a bit too patronising. Fair enough if you've been with someone for a while, and you grow to use affectionate nicknames, that's nice, but not when you've barely clapped eyes on each other.

I met my current dh on an online dating site and he calls me Hun and I do him (note iPhone just capitalised it) he also called me sweetie, used to text me as soon as he woke up 'morning sweetie' so 5 years married and 3 kids later I wouldn't mind it being used a bit more often.
