I have just pulled an imbedded hair out of THE SOLE OF MY LEFT FOOT. I shit you not. I've had a spiking pain there for a couple of days and assumed I would find a verruca. It was a hair - seriously. How the hell? So am I being noting it's really weird and totally fucking freaky?

You may be transforming into a, erm, something. Something with hairy soles. I'm not sure what it might be, can't think of anything with hairy soles; interesting.

Will you let me know?

That is definitely weird. Was it your hair?

Hairdressers can get other people's hair kinda in bedded in their feet

Many moons ago I was a hairdresser and I used to regularly remove horrid little spiky hairs from everywhere. Pointy tweezers were my best friend YUK

If I change into a werewolf I will let you know. It wasn't my hair - too short, it wasn't a pube - too fine.

This happened to me when I was younger with a dog hair! They can actually work their way in through your skin.

Like you, I had a sharp pain and looked at my foot to find a hair from our black labrador embedded in it!

I'm not a hairdresser, I'm frontline NHS staff. Oh god, was it a sign from Mr Cunt?

Are your feet very very large?

Menopause? Does strange things to you, hairs start growing where they're not supposed to...

Feet are size four. Too young for menopause, well I like to think I am Grin

Hairs can work their way into your skin, it made me feel really quite queasy when I read about it!

Do you have pets? I am forever pulling dog hairs out of my feet - they are very fine so work their way in and the pain is awful! We have a magnifying glass and pair of tweezers specifically for this job.

Well they send old priests to St Clabbert's if they get the hairy hands. I'm not sure what the protocol is for hairy feet.

I agree with those hairdressers who commented! When I was doing my hairdressing training they banned us from wearing open shoes to try and prevent this! Though loads of the hairdressers I've seen seem to wear flip flops etc! 😊

The exact same thing happened to me yesterday, a couple of days after cutting DH hair.

Excuse the manky foot pic...

Haha I read this exact thing on another forum a few years ago, the op then was just as puzzled.

I've had this a few times and thought it was pretty weird, too. I think in my case its hair from the dog as the hairs are short and black and very tough. Thanks dog...

ImCatbug · 14/02/2016 11:13

I get this from my dog's hairs too! They're so bloody painful.

Report
Aramynta · 14/02/2016 11:14

They are, SO painful. I thought it was glass before I looked, then a piece if wire when I did.

The first time it happened it was one of DH's greys. Trying to see it to get it out was difficult....
