I am, I'm fat as fuck. I look like someone has taken a bicycle pump to me!
I stopped smoking several months ago and haven't stopped eating since
Xmas has just been an excuse to go through the fridge and cupboards like Pacman on speed!
Went to a do last night and felt like a badly upholstered couch in my frock so have decided new year new me!
What are your plans?

I am getting back to my fitness pal and exercise.

If I don't do something soon I will develop all sorts of ailments. Heading towards 50 and also fat as fuck.

My exercise kit is set out on my bed right now. I am still in pyjamas but will be going out for a brisk walk in 20 minutes. The hardest thing is getting my arse out the door (not because my arse is that wide, but because I am a lazy git.)

So, in short, YANBU.

I'm hoping to loose some weight too. I need new clothes and want not to look like I do now.

Meeeeee! My weight has crept up a bit of late, and have been very lazy!

I think I'm going to low carb, it's the the most effective for me but so hard to begin with, I just need to get through the first week of it and I'll be fine.
I'm also fat as fuck but 4 stone less than I was a couple of years ago (but still 6 stone more than I was a couple of years before that Confused)

MagpieCursedTea, i also find low carb best. Not hectically carbless! Just low carb :)

I'm just going to cut out all the crap. I've had enough mince pies, chocolate, biscuits, doritos, etc to last me till next christmas.
Exercise - just step it up again. I already do swimming and a fair amount of walking. I'm going to buy some new trainers and do some running as well.

I'm going to go low carb as well, have just bought the new Atkins diet book and recipe book so will give Guyana bash
My diet is so high in carbs and sugar I must have pure Tate and Lyle running through my veins!

Oooh me! I'm not fat as fuck anymore (lost 5st 2 years ago, I didn't change what I ate though, I just ate less of it). My diet is atrocious - everything I eat is junk or sugar. My face is really spotty (and I'm in my 30s!), the stuff my GP prescribed is not helping at all, I need emergency measures. I did Carol Vorderman's detox once which helped, so I'm going to try that again.

Well done for giving up smoking ovaryhill , that's the best thing you can do for your health. Good luck with the diet change. x

Me... I need to exercise. Not a fan of the gym & hate paying to get fit when I can do it at home.

Aim to loose two stone before May as I have a Wedding then.

Think ill calorie count as I adore carbs to much to give them up.

I am, I bought some healthy meals to take to work & didn't buy any chocolate! Well done me!

However, I have just had a McDonalds dinner Blush

I am debating doing a slim fast type shake diet to kick start it. Is anyone else debating something similar?

I'm getting back onto SW on Jan 5th and I'm really looking forward to it. I've just eaten a metric shit-ton of cheese and am halfway through a cheeky little bottle of red.

Also planning on heading back to the gym.

I'm two weeks out of a relationship and am in need of some other focus than fretting about my shitty lovelife.

I have lost 10kg since mid September through diet and exercise.

December has fallen off the exercise wagon due to holiday (all inclusive but still lost weight!) so heading back to the gym tomorrow.

I have around 35-40kg still to go.

I don't enjoy the gym but mid 40s and starting to worry about health.

I'm starting Slimming World in the new year. I have too! If I carry on at this rate I'll end up dead of a heart attack before I'm 40.

You're not unreasonable to ask at all!

And to answer, I'm going back to low-carb eating from the stroke of midnight on NYE, if not before. I feel like a very uncomfortable weeble and it's not a good feeling.

I'm also going to get back to running. I struggle with the cold so lovely DH has bought me a subscription to our local gym. It's great as I'll feel far too guilty not to go!
