I think this will remain one of those great unsolved mysteries like

  • Who shot JFK?
  • What happened to Madeleine McCann?
  • The Black Delilah.
  • Who was Jack the Ripper?
  • Did the moon landing really happen?

Aibu to think some things will always remain a mystery, and this will be one of them?

Too soon to say.

Are you following the threads in 'chat' about this?

I get anxiety thinking about it. Better for all involved that they know what happened or there is no closure.

The black delilah Confused
You mean Dahlia... and yes, it will probably stay a mystery.

I think we will know.

It might not be for years like the Star Dust, be we will know.

Oh and there is no mystery over the moon landings, if you want proof we went you can shine a laser (OK you ay have to go to a uni department for this) at the moon and receive a reflection from a disc left there by NASA.

And obviously at some stage someone will go back.

No. But whether or not the moon landing happened ain't one of them.

I think Francis Tumblety was Jack the Ripper.

Of course the moon landing didn't happen.

Well we know who shot JFK and the moon landings happened. So we've got a fair chance of finding out what happened to those poor people.

YABU.

You forgot to add - did Paul McCartney die in 1966 & was he replaced with a lookalike?

It's not really much of mystery IMHO.
The plane must of crashed in the sea otherwise one of the over 240 people on board would have phoned/texted loved ones. (Sorry if I got this wrong).
It's terrible and extremely sad for everyone involved.

Oh you forgot Elvis lives, he is working in a supermarket somewhere.

They will find the plane. It might take a while, but they will find it. They will also find out "whodunnit".
They will also eventually find out what happened to M McCann.

But what happend to Shergar???

I think the plane crashed into the ocean and sooner or later it will be found - thanks to the ineptitude of the Malaysian authorities it will likely be later.

yabu to put the moon landings on that list.

Ok, the moon landings happened, but the biggest mystery there is why they haven't bothered to go to the moon again? It was a long time ago now. Does anyone know why?

I think they will find MH370 in the sea, but why it happened is going to be the mystery. People who blow up things usually tell people what they are going to do/have done.

I think they will find out what happened to it eventually. Some people must have a good idea but they are not saying. I thought it would be found in a remote place and people safe as it was highjacked and made to land somewhere.. I still think there is a chance. I don't believe in the moon landings now. Looking at them now they seem very fake.

Happy - because it costs an absolute fortune with no real either financial or scientific payoff - Space stations and non manned missions are now the focus of 'space' exploration

Don't forget Hitler is still alive somewhere in South America.

Report
funkybuddah · 19/03/2014 12:38

For what reason would they go back to the moon?
They've been and the original race to get there was just that, a race against other nations.

Not a conspiracy.

happybubblebrain, there were actually six moon landings.

Officially, they stopped because people lost interest and they were bloody expensive for not much actual practical use.

Obviously, it was really because of aliens.
