That's fucking grim. I'd have to say something to that, just disgusting. Makes me wonder what their homes are like if they think nothing of doing this sort of thing in public, bleurgh.

Fingernails or toenails?

That's disgusting why would anyone do that on a bus? Please tell me it isn't her toenails though.

I would have to say something. Even at the risk of receiving abuse in return.

Some people are just disgusting.

Yes do throw up a little - it's important to enter in to the spirit of the thing.

Maybe the person next to you will start urinating in a corner, and it will bring you all together on The Bonding Bus.

Threading leg hair! Farking hell. I'm off to get the bus into town, my fanjo could do with some pruning.

Whats your stance on nail painting - I've done that on a bus before (fingers not toes btw!!)

LoL at threading hair.

Maybe I could have had a bikini wax

I would vomit on her.

Make up application wouldn't bother me although nail painting could be a bit smelly tbh.

Thankfully am off bus.

Nail painting is fine as it doesn't involve leaving discarded parts of body on bus

Thankfully it was her fingernails, but maybe she moved on to the toes now

Yup, saw a guy doing this on the tube one morning. Absolutely gross. People are foul. I try to avoid them as much as possible.

I was going to get the bus home ...i might just take a taxi instead Hmm

We should all graffiti the notice saying "Please take all personal belongings with you when leaving the bus/train" and add "including your hair and nails" underneath

How awful. I have a fit if dh clips his nails and the clippings miss the bin! And I'm married to him......... If I were on the bus I could well have heaved Shock.

I put this is the same category as folk who stand behind you in the queue and do the most god awful snort sniff and those chewing gum with their mouths open!

She was trying to do it discreetly but the clippers were clicking away...

sorry for thread hijack and I know its unreasonable of me but I am inexplicably driven to distraction by people applying make-up on public transport. There's something really "look at me" about it.

Bit of powder and mascara is ok. But when you see those people ostentatiously applying "come to bed" eyes over the entire course of a 20 minute bus journey complete with 14 coats of mascara... I feel like saying if they have such an elaborate routine they should just set their alarm 10 minutes earlier.
