AIBU?

To think Ocado should deliver to North Lincs?

I feel deprived of home delivery options. Thanks to our lack of Ocado, I am left at the mercy of Asda and Tesco who are both (locally at least) incapable of delivering orders without missing items/lots of short dated stuff/damaged items yadda, yadda, yadda and a small Sainsburys which doesn't have a great range.

I WANT OCADO. Angry

Its not fair, its just not fair.

Am I being unreasonable? Grin

We're in N.Lincs. We noticed that Ocado don't deliver here too. we just go to the supermarkets in general though so it doesn't affect us too badly.

I have two DCs under two so home delivery is my friend. :)

I am utterly fed up with the current options.

You should probably have asked your conveyancing solicitor to include this in your searches when you moved there. 'Does it flood, sit over a mine and are there Ocado deliveries?'

We have:
No Ocado
Nearest Waitrose 180miles
Nearest Ikea 180miles (and a £90 per item delivery charge)

Btw I'm in Notts and when I moved here about 10 years ago the Waitrose in Newark was the furthest north in the country (I regarded it as something like a museum, 'ooh, ahh, so spacious, such a beautiful olive display!) and Ocado did not deliver here at all. I think you are getting ahead of real time and the south east has yet to catch up with you...

AND we can't get any good broadband deals (or speed) as our exchange hasn't yet been upgraded :(

I agree, in the hope that if those in N Lincs get it so will those of us in N E Lincs.

We have Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury delivery, and Morrisons are apparently starting delivering soon but I NEEEEED Waitrose!

Currently having to schlep all the way to Lincoln (plus side they have a Lakeland too) but it's too far to go as often as I'd like.

There's a teeny tiny Waitrose store in Nottingham, that's it! I've been nagging them on twitter to make it larger but they are not listening! They don't deliver as the nearest largest store is in Newark (20 miles away) and they are too 'busy'. Hmm Can get Ocado though. Why don't you email and ask them now they have a swanky new delivery centre? Wink

The Waitrose in Hull used to deliver to Wootton, where I used to live :)

Housewife, I'm in NE Scotland. The beautiful scenery and excellent quality of life make up for the lack of middle class civilisation. Honest.

I didn't realise there was anyone else from N. Lincs here on mumsnet. We are indeed a rarity.Grin

Tesco delivery round here is shite, always late, always wrong. Don't like Asda so haven't tried their delivery service. I use the Sainsbury's quite a lot but didn't realise they delivered. Might try that now.

I've driven past the Willerby Waitrose a few times and glanced wistfully but can't justify the petrol money and bridge toll when all the other are on my doorstep.

YANBU.
