Mumsnet as a forum is mostly words isn't it?

Therefore it's necessary to have a rudimentary grasp of the written word?

So AIBU to think if you can't even be arsed read the op properly, not the thread, not even just the ops posts, but just the actual opening post, than you can go forth and do one?

You might as well put a comment that's not even vaguely involved.

Op. Hello, I'd like your opinion on whether strawberry or raspberry jam would be better on a sponge cake.

Numpty: people who eat cheese are cunts.

Everyone else: eh? READ THE OP!!

Numpty: shan't it's a free forum stop being mean.

I am now grumpy. Will the perpetrators of this nonsense please desist forthwith. AIBU to be tetchy about this influx of non readiningness?

As it is mostly words, can you link to the words that prompted you to start this thread please? Grin

Depends very much on whether your sponge cake is made with butter.

No Worra - it's been intermittent this week. And, to be frank, one poster who has done so scares me, although that thread was deleted.

Come on, Weasel, we won't tell anybody. And anyway, you're safe as you're invisible, innit.

I'm disappointed. :( I was looking forward to a nice bit of deep-fried splatted weasel.

Now I've got to go and find some other road kill.

Ouch! Don't be so touchy it's a free forum!

Actually I know exactly what you mean, seen it a few times recently myself. Tbh, I get a bit irritated by the 'havent read the thread but...

IE I know this is 600 posts into the thread but I'm so dumb I'm going to presume that no other pertinent info has been offered up by the OP, and I'm going to give you the benefit of my infinite wisdom and say YABU, and a bit lazy

I'm too tired to even rant properly, that didn't make much sense

Hmm do knids eat weasel?

Sorry Green. Yes that's it. It's like scan title then say shit. Move on to the next one.

Actually, this particular knid is a vegetarian. So you're quite safe, splatted or not.

I do think you have though. It is irritating when people don't read the OP or subsequent posts properly.

I do think you have a point though, that should say.
