I think he's just too young to understand the concept and he'll just wreck it anyway.

DP thinks we should save it for him and let him have it in a couple of weeks.

How old is he?

My DD is 15 months and I opened the door of our calendar this morning, showed her the picture and then promptly ate the chocolate - well, I gave her a little piece. She's too young to appreciate Lindt chocolate.

I'm thinking that once all the pieces are out he can play with it over Christmas. Our living room has been taken over with playmobil and I keep standing on tiny flowers, swords and pirate hats

We have that one too! Ds is nearly 10 though, so he does know what to do with it

DS1 has the woodland one this year and he is soooo excited

We had this one last year and I am recycling it this year. Its been put on a shelf ona bookcase at DS height with some cotton wool snow along the edge. He loves it but I do hover round thinking I want it to myself
