What aftershave does your DH/DP wear?

Yesterday DP smashed the bottle of horrible Calvin Klein aftershave he’s been wearing for over 10 years! (Bought in the duty free on a lads holiday none the less!)

Hurrah!

He’d quite like some for Christmas but I have no idea what’s decent for blokes. He’s 38 if that makes a difference and I’d like it to be a fresh, subtle smell! Budget isn’t huge, £20-£40 probably.

My DH wears Farenheit; it's a woody scent, smells lovely on him! 🙂

OH wears Ted Baker M ( bought as a gift set by my Mother)

It's really fresh and quite cheap now

DH has a couple he chops and changes; Joop, Cool Water, Hugo Boss and he got a very nice Thierry Mugler one for his birthday.
I prefer the Joop as it's what he had on when we met.

Paco Rabane Invictus and Issey Miyake Nuit D'Issey
Both are lovely, the Invicus especially. I wear the women's Olympia version.

My DH recently bought Sauvage and I can’t stand it. I think it smells cheap and nasty and I’ve asked him not to wear it if he’s going to be around me.
I adored its forerunner Eau Savage though.

Mine wears cool waters (which makes me feel nauseous in the morning but smells lovely by the time he comes home from work) and diesel only the brave, which is much much nicer.

These are both ancient though

My dp also used to have a bottle of some foul ck aftershave, which mysteriously vanished when we moved house.

I wonder if was the same one as ops dp. It was truly rank.

@BillywigSting I have, on several occasions, tried to
Leave the damn “CK minging” in hotels and holiday cottages; he’s always found it. I’m doing very well at hiding my delight at the breakage whilst he is apparently actively mourning the CK shite.

I can only read sauvage as sausage and because of that it puts me off. I don't want dh to smell like Johnny Depp sausage.

I’m planning I’m getting DH tobacco absolute from Molton brown for Xmas. Much more experience than I was expecting! A colleague of mine was wearing it - luckily he’s also a friend as I had to ask him the creepy question because he smelled nice!

Do aftershaves/perfumes keep that long? I would have thought they would go bad after a few years. Maybe that's why it's horrible? 😬
