We're planning to go to bath christmas market saturday and bristol sunday as staying in a hotel. Does anybody know how busy the park and rides get and what time we should aim to get the park and ride?

TIA

Just to second what november said. We went one year, I think it was either the first or second weekend in dec and it was heaving. We were there about 11ish and most of the car parks in bath were rammed. The market looked good but there were so many people you couldn’t get close to the stalls.

Yeah the last two years i've been we parked in town but definitely going to avoid that this year and use a park and ride.

we are going for my birthday beginning of December thurs-sun!

We have just booked the coach return after I read this!

We are staying central and planning on staying central so no need for the car anyway! Gonna bring an extra suitcase with me Grin

Any tips for evenings?
Jazz clubs, live music bars/ bands

QuopQuop

The markets are nice for a walk round and mulled wine in the evening.

I like the bath brew house which is a micro brewery and vino vino which is a wine bar. There are comedy clubs in bath which i have never been too but heard from others they are great.

Hope you have a fab birthday!!

I fancy the open mic night at the bell but I'm assuming it will be busy!!
I'll have a look for a comedy club, that's a great idea!!Smile
