I need a turkey or turkey crown for Nov 18th! Has anyone seen them in stock anywhere?

Go and ask your butcher?

Most places are advertising fresh as being in store next month.

Would frozen do if you couldn't get one? If it was a choice between frozen or nothing?

Frozen will have to do I suppose. I did ask at the butchers but they said I was too late for a turkey order for Xmas and they won’t get them in that early

Too late to order? That seems early as plenty of people won't have concrete plans / numbers yet, surely?

That’s what they said. Stopped taking Christmas orders in September.

Where do you live? I think Whole Foods usually start selling them fresh in nov - probably because they are an American company.

I think it would have to be frozen. They are really coming in until 19th December where we are

M&S do this to order if it's a better compromise than frozen.

Clearly OP lives somewhere where the residents are VERY well-prepared!

I couldn’t get a fresh turkey last year for the 1st December! I had to use frozen which was beautiful and no one could tell the difference!

Have you tried musclefood? We've had their Christmas hamper for a few years now and never disappointed.
Not sure when they sell them, but if you're just after turkey, they might have the crown you're after now.
